For the most part, the big guns managed to avoid each other in the the third round of the newly-christened EFL Cup.
What was once just The League Cup is now known as the EFL Cup, but there’s not much excitement in this round besides the new name.
Premier League champions Leicester City host Chelsea in what should be the tie of the round, but things should be somewhat easier for the rest of the “big” clubs.
Arsenal make the trip up north to take on Championship side Nottingham Forest, while Manchester United are also away to Northampton.
Liverpool travel to Derby County while defending champions Manchester City take to south Wales to defend their trophy against Swansea.
