Liverpool’s summer spending spree might not be over yet.
The Reds’ £15m bid for Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been accepted by Borussia Dortmund, according to the Independent, and if the move goes through it could take their summer splurge past the £90m mark.
The Armenian midfielder joined Dortmund from Shaktar Donetsk in 2013, and in the past two seasons he scored 24 goals and provided 20 assists in 94 appearances – not bad.
He has started this season strongly, scoring twice in the Bundesliga opener against Borussia Monchengladbach and netting the winner in the German team’s thrilling 4-3 Europa League comeback win over Odd Ballklubb.

The Indy claim Liverpool may face competition from Juventus, however. The Italian club have also spent big this summer, with new arrival Alex Sandro taking their outlay to nearly £70m.
