Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for a new left back in January.
Having lost Luke Shaw to a broken leg, Louis van Gaal is considering buying another player for the position.
“Luke’s rehabilitation is going well but the process can be very slow,” Van Gaal explained. “I don’t know if he will play again this season. The doctors won’t take any risks with him, which is good.”
“I was convinced Luke would have a very good season and because of this I didn’t buy a second player for left-back. Maybe we have to buy a left-back in January.”
The Sunday Mirror suggest that Van Gaal is monitoring Wolfsburg’s Ricardo Rodriguez as he waits for Shaw to fully recovery.
