Another classy finish from Jovic
Ah, Luka Jovic. We’re going to be hearing lots and lots about Luka Jovic this summer, aren’t we?
The Serbian international’s form for Eintracht Frankfurt this season, where he’s on loan from Benfica, has already seen him linked with big money moves to some of the continent’s wealthiest clubs.
With 25 goals to his name for the 2018/19 campaign, Real Madrid and Barcelona are amongst those reportedly keeping tabs on him, as are (surprise, surprise) Manchester United.
Frankfurt’s Europa League semi-final with Chelsea will have been the first opportunity many English supporters will have had to watch Jovic up close.
It didn’t take him long to show what all the fuss is about, either. With little over 20 minutes played in Germany, his precise header – steered into the bottom corner of Kepa Arrizabalaga’s goal – was enough to give his side the lead.
You can admire the finish below. You can also admire what follows immediately after, as he makes an absolute mess of his attempted celebratory knee-slide.
There are few things more satisfying to watch in football than a failed knee slide. Good finish, though. pic.twitter.com/1SstTH0Ctk

Ouch.
Chelsea were able to get back on level terms before the interval. Pedro’s smart finish handing Maurizio Sarri’s men an away goal.
