The club have not yet issued a statement
Luka Milivojević stated as captain for Crystal Palace against Sheffield United this afternoon despite video footage appearing to show the player breaching coronavirus regulations on New Year’s Eve.
The Serbian is alleged to have broken Tier 4 restrictions on December 31st after video footage emerged that appeared to show the player partying with his international teammate Aleksandar Mitrović, whose partner Kristina Janjic posted the videos to her Instagram story.
Mitrović’s club, Fulham, have had their game against Burnley called off due to a high number of positive test results at the club.
Both Crystal Palace and Fulham have launched investigations into the matter.
Palace were expected to drop Milivojević following the alleged incident but to the surprise of many, the defensive midfielder started the game with the armband. The club’s officials channels have not yet posted a statement addressing the matter, either.

Screengrabs from Janjic’s Instagram story show the players dancing in a way that doesn’t immediately shout sobriety.
