Everton fans seem particularly annoyed

The kiss of death from Lukaku.

With Wayne Rooney and Romelu Lukaku swapping clubs,  it marked the end of one era and hopefully the beginning of another for Manchester United fans.

13 years on from his explosive United debut against Fenerbahce, Rooney is back at Everton and marked his Premier League return to Goodison Park with the winner against Stoke on Saturday.

Lukaku, just as was the case with Rooney all those years ago, also had a memorable Old Trafford debut for his new club, scoring twice and almost completing his hat-trick.

Hs first came just after the half hour mark. The Theatre Of Dreams took to their feet when Lukaku got onto the end of a lovely through ball before smashing it off the left post and into the back of the net.

His start couldn’t have been better but as he raced for the corner flag to celebrate with his new team-mates and in front of his new fans, he did something that really got under the skin of a lot of football fans…

Something so small but yet something that will really grind your gears, especially if you are an Everton fan.
