What has Ryan Giggs ever done to prove that he’s a better option than Jose Mourinho?
That’s a question that is doing the rounds amongst large seconds of the Man United support as they wake up to the news that the former may be preferred to the latter as the club’s next manager.
Mourinho has now reportedly resigned himself to not getting the job that many had assumed would certainly be his at the season’s end. A failure to nurture youth is cited as the main issue.
It is suggested that not only do the United board see Giggs are the natural successor to Louis van Gaal’s tenure, but that the Dutchman may now complete his current contract into next season.
Although it must be stressed this isn’t necessarily a unanimous sentiment, many United fans are filled with a tremendous foreboding about club legend Giggsy using the Old Trafford hotseat to test out his managerial skills for the first time…
Glazers were in Manchester this week and suddenly Giggs getting the job again. Penny pinching !! Disaster #mufc

Getting Giggs in would be a mistake… An even worse mistake would be allowing LVG complete his 3yr contract. Who calls the shots ffs? #mufc

Ryan Giggs has been part of two failed managerial campaigns. I love him but surely he is no Guardiola.

Sunday Mirror saying United are gonna replace LVG with Ryan Giggs and gone off Jose Mourinho. Read the article. Safe to say it's bollocks.
