United play Roy Hodgson’s side on Monday night in a game that could have a big say on the top four and the bottom three in the Premier League. Jose Mourinho’s team were in third place before the game, and Palace were third from bottom.

United don’t have such problems, but Anthony Martial missed the game with injury, and wasn’t named in the squad. Jesse Lingard replaced him in the starting line-up, but some United fans were more focused on Mourinho’s defensive selections.
Luke Shaw was named on the bench and Eric Bailly, who only recently returned from injury, didn’t start either. Some United fans on social media weren’t happy with this, questioning why the popular players didn’t get the nod.
