Football fans, eh? They never miss a trick.
Images of Manchester United’s new team photo have been splashed across social media in recent days. Unlike last year’s edition, there’s no fuss to be made over a certain absent German World Cup-winner this time around.
Still, there is, however, plenty to keep United fans occupied…
Closer inspection of the image has led many of the club’s supporters to believe that the image – or at least some parts of it – have been photoshopped.
Pretty sure the faces have been photoshopped. https://t.co/QHO3ZwJvLb

The biggest giveaway, according to many of those who have commented on it, appears to be Paul Pogba.
Positioned on the far right, the club’s most expensive signing has taken up a position behind the second middle row. Strangely, he appears to be casting little in the way of a shadow on the Old Trafford pitch, too.

Given that Pogba has spent recent weeks recovering from a hamstring injury, it’s entirely possible that United’s media team did need to edit him into the image if he wasn’t available on the day of the squad photo. Judging by the reaction of supporters, however, it would appear that if he has been photoshopped in, whoever’s responsible for doing so hasn’t done the most convincing of jobs…
