Surely Louis van Gaal has to dip into the transfer market for another defender.
Not only is Jonny Evans set for a medical at West Brom, but Manchester United are also allowing Tyler Blackett to join Celtic on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move.
The Scottish Sun report that Blackett, who appeared 10 times in the Premier League last season, will join up with Ronny Deila’s side as they brace themselves to lose Virgil van Dijk.

Van Dijk is a target for a number of Premier League clubs and has issued a ‘come-and-get-me’ plea after Celtic failed to secure a place in the Champions League group stage.
Blackett is seen as a like-for-like replacement and, despite being given his breakthrough by Van Gaal last season, never secured a regular starting position at Old Trafford.
