Yet another name is linked with a move to Manchester United
Manchester United are plotting a move for West Ham’s Issa Diop, Sky Sports have claimed.
The 22-year-old, who arrived at West Ham in a £22m move from Toulouse last summer, is the latest name to be linked with a transfer to Old Trafford as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer attempts to rebuild United’s squad following the disappointing end to last season.
Sky’s Kaveh Solhekol tweeted that United are willing to offer £45m plus a player to the London club in order to get a deal done for the French defender. It is not known who, at this stage, United would be open to sending in the opposite direction.
Though Solhekol adds that West Ham have already made it known that they have no intentions of letting Diop leave, Sky’s report suggests they may listen to offers over £60m for the player.

Even before United missed out on qualification for next season’s Champions League it was widely reported that Solskjaer would look to overhaul his first team in time for next season.
Though they continue to be linked with a host of names, their only completed transfer business is a £15m-deal for Daniel James, who arrived from Swansea City last week.
Defence appears to be one of the areas Solskjaer intends to strengthen, however, with reports claiming an improved offer for Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka is imminent.
