Celtic and Manchester United have both tweeted their support for former player Liam Miller.
Reports emerged on Sunday night that the 36-year-old was battling pancreatic cancer and is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment in the United States.

Miller made his professional debut for Celtic having come through the youth ranks at the club. Having established himself as a full international with the Republic of Ireland, he later moved to Manchester United, making over 20 appearances for the club before moving to Sunderland.

Miller also represented Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers in England, and also moved back north of the border to play for Hibernian in 2009. Later playing in Australia, he then moved to home town club Cork City, before finishing his career in America with semi-professional club, Wilmington Hammerheads.
