It’s fair to say Holland were absolutely sh*te in their 3-0 defeat against Turkey.
They were 2-0 down at half time after goals from ex-Arsenal youngster Oğuzhan Özyakup and Arda Turan, before their humiliation was compounded in the final 45 with a finish from Burak Yilmaz.
But there was at least one Dutch player that could walk away from the damaging Euro 2016 qualifying group defeat with some pride.
That was Manchester United’s Memphis Depay. He was whipping delightful crosses in all evening, but not one of these golden chances was buried in the back of the net.
