The absolute state of us.
The football season’s not even reached its halfway stage and here we are, already wanting to feast our eyes on a watermarked images of potential new kit designs for next season. How impatient. Shame on you for reading it; even more shame on us for writing about it.
Having already pointed you in the direction of the pink away shirt Manchester United will apparently be wearing next season, the folk at Footy Headlines – extremely reliable when it comes to footy kit news – have returned with what they claim will be the Old Trafford club’s third strip colours for the 2018/19 campaign.
They say the kit will be two shades of navy, with the club badge and adidas logo set to be gold, much like the club’s main shirt sponsor, Chevrolet.
At this stage, little is known about the actual design of the shirt and other parts of the kit, though it’s expected to replace the club’s current grey third kit when it’s launched during the early weeks of the next campaign.
