In recent months, people haven’t been short of things to take the p*ss out of Manchester United for.
Disappointing results, bizarre sponsorship deals, the many excuses of Louis van Gaal… the anti-United brigade have been spoiled for choice.
On Sunday, United were once again the subject of great amusement when it emerged that their bus had been caught up in London traffic – delaying kick-off first by fifteen minutes and then half an hour.
Predictably, Twitter was merciless.

Some suggested there were similarities between the driver’s route to the ground and the style of football played by United at times this season.
Kick off delayed.

Thankfully, the bus arrived – meaning kick off would take place at 4.30pm. For some, this was still too soon.
Any chance of the #MUFC game being delayed until like August?
