This hasn’t gone down well.
Manchester United have been charged by the FA with failing to control their players at Chelsea. However, Marcos Rojo won’t be punished for his alleged stamp on Eden Hazard.
United could be fined for surrounding referee Michael Oliver, after he sent Ander Herrera off for a foul on Eden Hazard in the first-half of the team’s FA Cup quarter-final loss at Stamford Bridge.
They have until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge.
Yet, Rojo is in the clear, as the referee confirmed that he saw the incident, but didn’t think it was worthy of action during the game.

Many on social media felt Rojo should have been given a ban for the incident, as Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings was banned for five games after he stamped on Zlatan Ibrahimovic earlier this month.
Rojo stamp on Hazard far more clear cut than Mings – surely now gets 5-game ban

Rojo ban incoming. Well overdue if we're being honest.

However, the United defender won’t face a ban, which has led to many calls of double standards.
Mings's is a stamp. Rojo's not a stamp. Small club justice v big club justice.

Suspect Bournemouth will be nonplussed as to how Rojo has escaped charge for alleged stamp on Hazard given Mings situation

the @FA are simply appalling, double standards! How does Rojo get nothing yet Mings gets 5 games! Atrocious decision!

Can you explain to me why you will be taking no action against Rojo for his deliberate stamp on Hazard ? Seems like double standards !

How on earth can Rojo escape a ban,his challenge is worse than mings as it was a full on stamp..double standards by the fa again#nodeterent

No ban for Rojo. How utterly unsurprising

How Rojo has not seen a red this year is beyond me. Hanging out with Pepe possibly. No consistency with refs. Lucky boy
