Manchester United are not short of pace this season.
In all areas of the pitch, United have plenty of speed and that’s proven by the fact that United have two players on the list of the top 10 recorded speeds from the Premier League this season.
Opta have been taking note of all the top speeds so far in this campaign and the club-by-club breakdown of how players are faring makes for fascinating reading.

Manchester Evening News have reported the top five speeds of United players so far this term, with a defender making the list.
Marcus Rashford could only make third spot while the two most expensive Red Devils players of all time take first and second.
Here are the top five in reverse order:
5. Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 33.68km/h
It comes as no surprise that Henrikh Mkhitaryan made the top five and he’s proven time and time again that once he has space to run into, he’s a dangerous man for opposition defenders to deal with.
The Armenia international has already contributed five assists in three league games for United this season and after a slow start to life in the Premier League, he’s flourishing in his sophomore season.
4. Phil Jones – 33.8km/h
Perhaps a bit of a shock that Jones has been faster than Mkhitaryan this season but there you have it.
The defender has been described as “untransferable” by manager Jose Mourinho this season and his versatility is what makes him such a crucial member of United’s squad.
He can even take corners…
3. Marcus Rashford – 34.27km/h
If Marcus Rashford beats his man, there are few full backs who are going to be able to catch him.
At full sprint, the 19-year-old is a terrifying prospect and he has made a handy habit out of cutting inside from the left flank and taking a shot at goal.
2. Romelu Lukaku – 34.56km/h
He’s much more than a big target man then.
Romelu Lukaku can do it all and that includes keeping up with United’s famous counter-attacking prowess and making sure he’s in the box to finish off any chances.
1. Paul Pogba – 34.68 km/h
That’s what £89.3 million gets you.
