We’ve been here before, haven’t we?
For the second time in his career, Marcus Rashford scored a crucial late goal to seal victory for Manchester United away to Paris Saint-Germain.
Not quite as late or dramatic as *that* penalty the season before last, but his winner secured United a winning return to the Champions League after last season’s absence.
United, in truth, had been the better team throughout the game, taking a first-half lead through Bruno Fernandes’ retaken penalty and creating chances aplenty.
Last year’s beaten finalists upped their game in the early stages of the second half, but only managed to draw level courtesy of an Anthony Martial own-goal.
At that point, many might have anticipated PSG to dominate the remainder of the game, yet Thomas Tuchel’s side failed to gain any real sense of control, with United continuing to create chances.
Finally, with three minutes to play, Rashford arrowed a powerful low drive beyond Keylor Navas into the bottom corner of the PSG goal, enough to clinch a crucial three points.

United’s next Champions League game sees them take on RB Leipzig at Old Trafford next week, where they will be looking to build on another memorable night in Paris.
