From Fletcher Moss to Manchester United
Marcus Rashford has this season become arguably Manchester United’s most important player. While incredibly promising from the moment he burst onto the scene, recent seasons had seen question marks emerge over the striker’s ruthlessness in front of goal.
The 2019/20 season however has seen those questions silenced, as Rashford showed an eye for goal that he was not often apparent in the earlier years of his career.
We caught up with the England international’s first ever coach, David Horrocks of Fletcher Moss Rangers, to find out what Rashford was like as a young footballer, and how he has found himself with the world at his feet.
