The finish? Typical Fellaini.
Manchester United lead Everton 1-0 at half-time in their FA Cup semi-final clash.
United’s opener was bundled home by Marouane Fellaini after 33 minutes. Anthony Martial did the hard work and Fellaini swept home with a knock here, shove there and bump here.
Given the fact that many United fans were bemoaning Fellaini’s start, this was another reminder of his worth.
The first 45 minutes found the Belgian in vintage form – he held the ball up well, won frees, conceded frees, linked up play, passed balls out of play, won headers and conceded more frees.
As per usual, it left fans divided.
