Here at JOE we were somewhat surprised to hear that there was some doubt in certain quarters as to whether Juan Mata actually meant his delightful assist for Chris Smalling’s winner against Wolfsburg.
But apparently there was. Perhaps some people assumed it was just a lazy wave of the foot in the general direction of the ball. Anywho, the genial Spaniard appeared on BeIN Sport ahead of Man United’s game with Arsenal, and was asked about the flick.
