Okay, okay. We know it’s far too early in the season to be jumping to conclusions, but given all that’s gone on at Arsenal in recent years, you can completely understand why, after just two games, people are already tipping Mikel Arteta to be the first managerial casualty of the new season.
Having lost their opener to Brentford over a week ago, Arsenal were outclassed at home by Chelsea on Sunday afternoon. With Manchester City next up, it’s hard to see the situation improving for them any time soon.

How long Arteta will be given remains to be seen, but, according to The Telegraph, patience already appears to be wearing thin. So thin, in fact, that it’s claimed he has until the second international break to turn things around or face a battle to save his job.
