This does little to quieten those that claim that Wales are a one-man team.
As they stand on the brink of qualification for their first major tournament in over half a century, Gareth Bale’s contribution to his nation’s bid to reach France next summer has been brought home by this staggering stat.

Although the rest of the squad hardly lack quality, Bale has undoubtedly been a major factor in his country’s push for a spot at Euro 2016.
With just a point required from their two remaining qualifiers, it would appear that Bale and the rest of the Welsh squad will be booking their flights to France in the very near future.
