The three-part docuseries is set to drop on January 25

Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming docuseries which will follow Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil forward Neymar.

The three-part series will document the 29-year-old’s life from the beginning of his career at Santos, where he broke onto the scene as one of the most talented teenagers in the world, to life at Barcelona and now at PSG, not to mention as an integral member of the Brazil squad.

Neymar’s career has divided opinion over the years for his actions both on and off the pitch and the docuseries will provide fans with an access-all-areas experience one of football’s most controversial characters.

Whilst his career has largely been a success, the Brazilian’s career has also been held back in some respects by the number of injuries he has accumulated.

Neymar has been out of action since November after he was stretchered off with an ankle injury during a fixture against St-Étienne and has made just 14 appearances in all competitions this season – scoring just three times, no less.

Set to arrive on the streaming platform on January 25, the series will also feature interviews from global superstars such as David Beckham and Lionel Messi.

Amongst Beckham, the likes of former teammate Luis Suarez as well current ones Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe can also be seen featured as interviewees.

Netflix will be dropping all three episodes at once, so you’ll have the choice of bingeing them all in one sitting or going at your own pace. Given the Hollywood career he’s already had, we applaud anyone who can resist the urge to power through in one night.
