There had been consternation amongst Gooners that they’d not only have to settle for another fourth place finish this season, but also have to endure a very untraditional-looking uniform whilst finishing fourth again next season.

But now it seems that the actual PUMA kit for season 2016/17 will be far more classy and in keeping with the iconic Arsenal look of red body/white sleeves. In fact there’s almost a level of retro cool about the design.
Footyheadlines have shared clear new images of the leaked kit and it looks very smart indeed. Sure there’s a random dark stripe down the front of the jersey, but it’s still mighty fine design…
