As Leicester City’s title challenge gained momentum, so did the promises about what people would do if they made history and won it.
Everyone knows about Gary Linker’s assurance that he would present the first Match of the Day of the season in just his pants if his boyhood club managed to claim the trophy.
Now they’ve officially become the Champions of England, Lineker plans to honour his Leicester promise after the summer. And it turns out another Foxes fan has made good on their vows.
We don’t know who they belong to, but someone was clearly so ecstatic with their team’s phenomenal achievement they they decided to pay tribute in tattoo form.
You’ll all be aware of leading Leicester goalscorer Jamie Vardy’s “chat sh*t, get banged” catchphrase. The striker tweeted the comical threat in a tweet posted several years ago, but it resurfaced during Leicester’s ascent to the top of the Premier League.
Well now the four words have been immortalised on someone’s skin. Pictures uploaded to Reddit show off the brilliant tattoo in all its glory, as well as a second inking of Claudio Ranieri’s name in a heart.
A lot of spontaneous tattoos end up as horrible regrets years down the line, but whoever these ones belong to will almost certainly never get sick of being reminded of their team’s historical year. We’d probably try and keep the “chat sh*t, get banged” one hidden in a job interview, though. Well, unless the job is in the East Midlands.
