Five of the eight games are ‘suspended for two years’
England cricketer Ollie Robinson has been handed an eight match ban by the Cricket Discipline Commission following an investigation into offensive historic tweets sent from his account.
Robinson has already missed three England matches while the investigation was ongoing, and the remaining five will be suspended for two years, meaning he is actually free to continue playing cricket.
After the tweets first came to light – during day one of his England Test debut – the fast bowler issued an apology for his past behaviour.
