Nick Newell won his 14th professional fight despite having been born with a congenital amputation of his left arm.
Nick Newell has said that he wants a UFC fight, after coming back from retirement and beating Sonny Luque in Friday night’s Legacy Fighting Alliance 35 main event.
It took just over two minutes for him to emerge the victor via submission after locking in a rear-naked choke.

The 31-year-old’s record is now 14-1, with current UFC lightweight contender Justin Gaethje handing him his single in-ring defeat.
After the match, Newell made it clear he now wants a shot at a UFC match. He said: “Life is a cold hard place. It will chew you up and spit you out.
“But if you make it your bitch, you can do anything. You can either become a victim of circumstances or you can create your own. I’m out here, I’m creating my own circumstances.
“I’m one of the best fighters in the world and I belong in the UFC. That’s it. That’s final. I gave you 14 reasons why I belong in the UFC. I’m one of the best fighters in the world and I proved it 14 times.”
