Manchester United wouldn’t be as boring if this guy was on free-kick duty.
Hakan Calhanoglu has admitted he’d find it hard to turn down Manchester United or Barcelona, should either club make a move for him.
The 21-year-old Bayer Leverkusen midfielder is something of a free-kick specialist, and has attracted attention from a number of Europe’s top clubs.
Following his side’s defeat to Roma in the Champions League, Calhanoglu told Turkish media: “Barcelona and Manchester United are huge clubs. It would be difficult to turn them down but I have not said anything about any transfers or anything of the sort.”
“I have not said anything and there is nothing to talk about, but of course if Barcelona made an offer I would have to consider it”.
Calhanoglu is an attacking midfielder and has scored an impressive 11 direct free-kicks in the Bundesliga. He even managed to score from 41 yards last season, and looks certain to play for one of Europe’s elite clubs.
