He has not played a match since January
Everton outcast Oumar Niasse has issued a come and get me plea to newly appointed West Brom manager Sam Allardyce ahead of the January transfer window.
Niasse joined Everton in the winter of 2016 for a fee of £13.5 million but has been used scarcely by subsequent managers, playing most of his football out on loan at Hull and Cardiff.
But he did enjoy a rich vein of form during Allardyce’s short spell at Everton in the 2017/18 season, scoring eight goals in 22 Premier League games.
And the Senegal international would like to reunite with Big Sam and help West Brom in their fight for survival.
Speaking to The Beautiful Game podcast, Niasse said: “Big Sam is a guy I worked with and had a good relationship with at the time when he was at Everton.
“Right now the only thing on my mind is, if I get to a team in England, the opportunity to be on the pitch and to do exactly what I’ve been missing for all this time.
“He [Big Sam] knows how I am, he knows me personally.”

“To be honest, I’m open. I’m open when it comes to the teams in England. Even the Championship, I’m thinking about it. Because the challenge could be interesting and I’m ready to take on the challenge.”
Niasse mentioned opportunities that could arise in the United States, but emphasised the importance of being happy in England where his son is growing up.
“If I go there and I’m not happy, it’s not worth it,” he said.
“Being in England is something I know is going to make me happy so of course, West Brom could be a very good opportunity for me.
“My agent will try to do what he needs to do. If Big Sam is interested, I’m ready to jump in my car and drive to Birmingham.”
