Does this mean it’s done then?
Honestly, we’ve not a bloody clue any more.
Only 24 hours ago, it seemed like Paul Pogba had confirmed that talk of a move back to Manchester United was precisely that – ‘talk’ – when he appeared in a video tweeted by the adidas football account.
Ignore the blah, blah, blah. #FirstNeverFollows pic.twitter.com/SoaufHzFaU

‘Don’t believe everything you read in the papers’, a hooded Pogba was seen saying.
Understandably, many United fans thought that was the end of matters. But a day later, there’s an extended version of the video…
Tweeted by the same adidas football account (it’s got the blue verification tick and everything), the new version appears to suggest that the deal is anything but dead.
Don't believe everything you read in the papers.
It's all just blah, blah, blah. #FirstNeverFollowshttps://t.co/hJyjHuyUMM— adidas Football (@adidasfootball) July 28, 2016
The video cuts from Pogba to a billboard showing the United crest and the word ‘blah’ – a word used by Pogba’s agent in a tweet sent last week.
There is no deal done regarding Paul Pogba, lots of bla bla bla.

After a brief cameo from United fan Stormzy, the video goes back to Pogba who utters adidas’ ‘First never follows’ motto into the camera.
Have adidas just let the cat out of the bag? If they haven’t, all this is one hell of a coincidence.
