Some people are just made for the spotlight.
There are those who were born to be on a stage, entertaining the masses and in the modern age of social media, you never have to stop performing.
Look, you might not believe that Paul Pogba is the best player in the world right now, and you might think his transfer fee was bloody ludicrous. You might even say that the way in which he teased his return to Manchester was downright narcissistic. But the man knows how to get tongues wagging.
The Frenchman has been making headlines for months now as the speculation about his future intensified, only to let London rapper Stormzy break the news confirming his world-record transfer back to Old Trafford.

But the problem with building up to something for months and months is that (besides everyone getting extremely bored by the second month) people lose interest in the story once it reaches its conclusion.
Pogba’s transfer to Manchester United was never about football, it was a soap opera that we all took part in.
Things reached a peak when Pogba became a meme after re-signing, but since then he has seen his ability to draw headlines lessen to the point that we had gone almost a whole 24 hours without writing about him – and even then he was just a bit-part player in a battle between Andrea Pirlo and The Daily Mail.
But once you’ve had a taste of the limelight, you’re never gonna give it up. And so in anticipation of his second debut for the Red Devils this weekend, Pogba has gone and dyed his hair pink.

Even before his ridiculously drawn out transfer saga with United, Pogba was making headlines for his daring hairdos.
So it makes sense that he would fall back on an old reliable method to get the focus back on him after his team-mates handled themselves just fine without him at the weekend.
