There’s lots of amateur detectives out there.
In case you slept through it (and that’s perfectly understandable considering it was conducted in the middle of the night), the draw for the third round of the Carabao Cup (league cup) took place in China on Thursday morning and looks as follows:

Manchester United were drawn at home to Championship side Burton Albion. On paper, that would seem to be a relatively straight-forward hurdle for Jose Mourinho’s men to overcome, and could therefore be perceived as ‘lucky’ by some, right?

Wrong! According to social media sleuths, ‘luck’ has nothing to do with it and it’s all a big conspiracy. They claim the graphics for the draw went up suspiciously quickly (almost as if people prepare the templates in advance) and that this is conclusive proof that Manchester United were the beneficiaries of a FIX!
How do they have the graphics ready so quickly? #strange

The most transparent fix ever in cup football. And people wonder why clubs don't take these competitions seriously. Disgraceful.
