Two games down, 36 to go.
It seems like Phil Neville has made it his season’s mission to take the piss out of Chelsea for their decision to sell Nemanja Matic to Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Many eyebrows were raised when Matic joined United earlier this month and several theories have since done the rounds, with Blues legend Frank Lampard suggesting that the Serbian midfielder had forced through the move against manager Antonio Conte’s best wishes.
Matic wasted no time in endearing himself to his new supporters with a pair of accomplished appearances in the Red Devils’ opening two Premier League fixtures.
It didn't take long for Matic to win the approval of the home crowd https://t.co/OEBgqwgWFo

The 29-year-old starred against West Ham last week and similarly didn’t put a foot wrong against Swansea on Saturday afternoon, when he continued to look very much like the successor to Michael Carrick in United’s midfield.
And on the full-time whistle both of United’s 4-0 victories thus far this season, former player Phil Neville posted identical tweets out into the world.

Now while punctuation has never been Neville’s strong point, he’s clearly regressed as his most recent tweet saw him use a lower case “M” for Matic, which makes us all the more curious to see what the Class of ’92 alumnus comes up with after United host Leicester next Saturday.
