The last few England international football kits have been relatively easy to predict.
They’ll have a white home kit, maybe with some red or dark blue involved, while the change strip will be mostly red with the occasional splash of white.
It’s rare that the kit manufacturers deviate from this approach – perhaps they’re still gunshy after the grey kit from Euro 96 became synonymous with penalty shoot-out failure.
But this new effort – according to FootyHeadlines it’s a leaked version of the ‘home’ kit to be worn at Euro 2016 – has taken a gamble on sky blue.

If it turns out that this is the genuine kit for the Euros, it won’t be the first time the colour has found its way onto an England home shirt.
But the arty sleeves represent a change from the more classic white efforts we’ve seen in recent years.
Is it the kind of ambition that can help drive Roy Hodgson’s men to European glory? No, it’s just a shirt, but we’re sure that won’t stop people overthinking things.
