Marcus Rashford’s stunning Premier League debut may be the stuff of fairytale, but Arsenal fans believe the youngster should have been brought crashing back down to earth.
The 18-year-old struck twice in the first half to give an injury-depleted Manchester United side a half-time lead against the title challengers.
But there has been a suggestion that Rashford, who also netted twice in the Europa League victory over FC Midtjylland, should have been sent off late in the first half.
The teenager cleared off the line as Morgan Schneiderlin deflected the ball towards his own goal, but more than one Arsenal hand was raised, claiming Rashford had handled the ball.

Arsenal fans’ reaction was what you’d expect of any fans in such a heated contest
FFS he should be sat in the stand now straight red handball on the line #rashford

How the ref didn't send off Rashford for handball I don't know, clearly moved his arm to stop the ball going in.

The conspiracy theories began
Yep, was handball. Can see why referee wouldn't. Don't get why TV would choose to ignore it bar spoiling Rashford narrative.

That Rashford handball on the line would spoil the narrative for @SkySports wouldn't it? Let's just ignore it and pretend it didn't happen.

Sky haven't even mentioned Rashford's blatant handball. Ruins the fairytale narrative

And it got even worse when Rashford set up United’s third goal for Ander Herrera, with neutrals chipping in too

But United supporters? You know they didn’t care
Two goals. Handball on the goal line. Assist.
