Nowadays it seems like more of a statement when players have no tattoos instead of being inked.
Arsenal star Hector Bellerin is known for his speedy runs down the line but he’s quickly gaining notoriety for his body art.
The Spanish speedster has a full sleeve going down his right arm which includes an image of the Virgin Mary spanning the length of his forearm.

While such a religious tattoo might imply Bellerin is something of a goody two-shoes, the story behind one of his other markings is a little more relatable to any video game-loving fans out there.
The former Barcelona academy man explained that he picked up a tattoo on his left hand while on a lads’ trip to Greece with some other Arsenal youth players.
“I got [it] on my first lads’ holiday, with Jon Toral, Emi Martinez and Ignasi Miquel,” he told Amuse.
“We were in Greece and we used to play a lot of Call of Duty, and our client tag was ‘tato’, which means brother in Spanish, so I got that in the Greek alphabet, as a reminder of our friendship. We still all keep in contact, even though we’re now in different countries.”

But despite what people on the internet might have you believe, The Spaniard does not have a ‘Gooner Family’ tattoo on his right shoulder.
The image of a shirtless Bellerin giving a thumbs up next to Thierry Henry has been shared thousands of times by Arsenal fans.

But unfortunately for Gunners supporters, it’s a fake as you can see from Bellerin’s original post below.
