Barcelona may have won La Liga, with Luis Suarez enjoying a great season on a personal level, but not all of their players have enjoyed the current campaign.
Arda Turan arrived from Atletico Madrid last summer, but was unable to make his debut until the new year due to Barça’s ban on registering new players.
Even after making his debut against Espanyol in January, the €34m (£26m) midfielder managed barely 800 minutes of first team football.
He scored just twice – meaningless goals to round off the scoring in crushing victories over Rayo Vallecano and Getafe.
And now, according to the Daily Mirror, the club are ready to cut their losses on the Turkish international.
Arda hasn’t become a bad player overnight, though, and many fans still fondly remember the role he played in Atletico’s run to the 2014 Champions League final.
The 29-year-old scored the clinching goal in the semi-final victory over Chelsea, having impressed in the previous round as Atleti eliminated Barcelona with a 2-1 aggregate victory.
He also played his part as Diego Simeone’s team stunned Barcelona and Real Madrid to lift the Spanish title, and fans of many English clubs would clearly not object to their manager moving for the former Galatasaray man.
Barcelona open to selling Arda Turan, supposedly. Wouldn't mind him at #LFC!

Bringing him to LFC is a good idea though. He has been a RED fan since childhood and he is very solid and creative
