The 2015/16 Premier League season is finally upon us, so we’ve collected all of this year’s home kits for all 20 teams and the 18 away kits that have been released – with Manchester United and Sunderland still holding out. Arsenal Home: A smart effort in traditional taste – 8/10 Arsenal Away: A throwback to the 2001/02 SEGA kits – 7/10 Aston Villa Home: Not bad but missing last season’s pinstripes – 6/10 Aston Villa Away: One of the better away kits this year – 8/10 Bournemouth Home: That kind of shirt might cut it in the Championship, but you’re playing with the big boys now – 5/10 Bournemouth Away: Let’s hope their play is better than their jerseys – 5/10 Chelsea Home: Nice and simple, and the new sponsor isn’t too intrusive – 7/10 Chelsea Away – Sticking a simple template, the champions are looking strong this year – 8/10 Crystal Palace Home: A classic look for the south London Barcelona – 9/10 Crystal Palace Away: It’s always going to be hard to live up to that home kit – 6/10 Everton Home: It’s going to be a long season for Toffees fans as they return to the gaudy v-neck for some reason – 5/10 Everton Away: Looks like the designer’s printer was low on ink – 6/10 Leicester City Home: Now that’s how you rock a white collar on a blue shirt – 7/10 Leicester City Away: So close to being a great kit, but just a tad too shiny – 6/10 Liverpool Home: They haven’t had much luck with kit manufacturers around Anfield recently, and it seems that trend is continuing – 6/10 Liverpool Away: No need to get too complicated when it works like this – 7/10 Manchester City Home: A classy collar and subtle trim on the sleeves – 8/10 Manchester City Away – An ambitious effort that just falls short of greatness – 7/10 Manchester United Home: This year’s design was the worst-kept secret in football – 6/10 Newcastle United Home: A brave attempt to shake up the black and white template – 7/10 Newcastle Change: The fact that they insist on calling this a “change” shirt instead of an away one means they lose a point – 4/10 Norwich City Home: The Premier League hipsters’ jersey of choice – 8/10 Norwich City Away: The Canaries are doing everything they can to alienate their three fans – 4/10 Southampton Home: Why so many players would rather wear the Liverpool jersey than this one is beyond us – 8/10 Southampton Away: Horrendous. Who could possibly think these colours go well together? – 2/10 Stoke City Home: You knew exactly what this jersey was going to look like before you even clicked – 5/10 Stoke City Away: Somehow not the worst away kit this year – 4/10 Sunderland Home: It’s not exactly like the other two. It has black trimmings, see – 7/10 Swansea City Home: We’d complain about altering their kit to suit the sponsor if it wasn’t such an obvious improvement on last year – 7/10 Swansea City Away: We apologise to Southampton for thinking they were alone in liking this colour combo. Marginally better than the Saints – 2.5/10 Tottenham Home: What happened to you Spurs? You used to be cool – 6/10 Tottenham Away: We will look back at this season with disgust at the away jerseys – 4/10 Watford Home: A monstrosity – 4/10 Waford Away: Probably the only club in the league with a noticeably superior away strip – 8/10 West Brom Home: A wise change from last season’s misguided pinstripes – 7/10 West Brom Away: Gets a high rating purely based on how awful the majority of its competitors are – 7/10 West Ham Home: Expect a “Can we wear this every year?” chant at Upton Park – 10/10 West Ham Away: The Hammers are the only side to nail it home and away this year – 8/10
