Just hurry up and release the damn things
By now, you’ve probably heard all about how Paris Saint-Germain will be turning out in special Jordan kits for their Champions League games this season.
Along with the Nike kits they’ll wear domestically, the Ligue 1 champions will be wearing home and away kits made by Jordan, the subsidiary brand owned by Nike, for their European games.
There’s already been plenty of hype around the new kits, with images showing the goalkeeper’s shirts expected to be worn by Gianluigi Buffon doing the rounds on social media a couple of weeks back.
With PSG learning who they’ll face in the Champions League group stages last Thursday, it seems the new kits will be officially unveiled imminently. Ahead of this, another picture of one of the new kits has been leaked – this time by Neymar’s mum.
According to Footy Headlines, an image of the Brazilian international wearing one of the new shirts appeared on her Instagram account before later being deleted.
Prior to this, the same website had also provided other images of both the home and away PSG Jordan shirts.
The home is expected to be predominantly black with the club crest, Jordan logo and main shirt sponsor appearing in white. A vertical stripe will also run through the shirt’s centre, made up of white dots. The same design is expected to be used for the away kit, only with the white and black to be reversed.
PSG will be in the same group as Liverpool in the Champions League this season, travelling to Anfield for their first game on September 18. They will also play Italian side Napoli and Red Star Belgrade.
