It can be tough separating the real rumours from the fake ones on deadline day, such is the rush of (mis)information.
What makes things worse is that, even when your information is accurate, a deal can fall through and make you look stupid.
Alternatively, a player can point out a flaw in your information which forces you to delete a tweet.
This is what happened with Sky Sports News’ Kaveh Solhekol, who tweeted that wage demands were standing in the way of Ravel Morrison rejoining Queens Park Rangers on loan from Lazio.
Now, you may have spotted a problem with this. Morrison certainly did, and he pointed it out to the reporter, who subsequently deleted his tweet.
I didn't no you could demand more wages on a loan deal 😂

The England Under-21 international, who spent time on loan with QPR during their 2013/14 promotion campaign, has played just four times for Lazio’s first team in 18 months with the club.
He has been back in the North West of England, where he has been training with Wigan Athletic, and it would not be a surprise to see him return from Italy before the transfer window closes.
QPR fans would certainly be happy to welcome him back, by the looks of things.
shove it to him Ravel, let's hope we are welcoming you home soon dude!
