Reiss Nelson has scored his first goal for Hoffenheim with his first touch in any Bundesliga match this afternoon.
The Arsenal loanee opened his account for the German club after coming on from the bench during their match against Fortuna Dusseldorf to equalise for the away side.

(Ok, so technically it’s his second touch, but it’s his first involvement.)
Unfortunately for Hoffenheim, Dusseldorf regained the lead just two minutes later from the penalty spot.
Nelson joined Hoffenheim on a one year loan from Arsenal, after signing a new long-term contract with the London club, putting fans who feared that he might leave permanently at rest.
The 18-year-old was given his first team debut by Arsène Wenger but agreed with new manager Unai Emery that it would be mutually beneficial for him to go out on loan and play more minutes elsewhere.
Nelson joins a growing list of young British players to venture abroad in search of more game time, after Ademola Lookman and Reece Oxford both went on loans to the Bundesliga.
The most successful young Englishman to head over there is undoubtedly Jadon Sancho, who left Manchester City to join Borussia Dortmund, and is reaping the benefits of his bravery as he plays first team football and racks up the assists.
