The end is near

It’s finally true.

Not even the FA Cup could spare Louis van Gaal from the sack, as Manchester United are set to replace the Dutchman at Old Trafford.

LvG saw his side beat Crystal Palace to lift their first F.A Cup since 2004 today, but rumours that he was about to be sacked have been building over the last number of weeks.

Minutes after the club lifted the trophy at Wembley, the BBC reported that van Gaal’s reign will be ended this Monday, and Mourinho will be appointed on Tuesday.

There so far has been no confirmation from the club, but the news is no surprise after the Dutchman failed to make the top four this season in the Premier League.

He did turn up for the post-match press conference, however.

And once again denied he is about to be sacked.

And he wasn’t happy.

However, despite his denial, it seems the end is in sight for van Gaal, and the club’s long-suffering fans.
