Reports in Germany on Friday night claimed that Bastian Schweinsteiger has agreed to sign for Manchester United.
German tabloid Bild announced the ‘Transfer of the Summer’ and claimed as fact that the Bayern Munich legend had decided to cut ties with the Bavarian club and move to Old Trafford.
The fee is reported to be in the region of €20m, with Schweinsteiger penning a three-year deal.
