Everyone at Manchester United is hoping and praying David De Gea stays at Old Trafford.
The Spain international has been heavily linked with a swap deal to Real Madrid which would see Sergio Ramos move in the other direction.
But now Rio Ferdinand has taken upon himself to make a musical plea for the Spanish goalkeeper to remain in Manchester.
The former United and England defender, leaning out his car window a la Harry Redknapp, says (in his best Spanish accent): “I’ve got a message for David De Gea.”
Then he lets the musical stylings of 90s dance act KWS do all the talking. Nothing says it quite like a song.
Being a London geezer, we’re surprised he didn’t plump for East 17’s ‘Stay Another Day’.
Still, at least he didn’t sing himself.
