Robben could be Old Trafford bound…and it’s all Lewandowski’s fault

Since Louis van Gaal’s arrival at Manchester United, there’s been a few suggestions that a move for his countryman, Arjen Robben could be on the cards.

Yet again, that could be the case, with a report in the Mirror claiming that Robben could be poised to end his time with Bayern Munich in favour of a move to Old Trafford.

The story suggests that Robben, who scored two in Holland’s friendly with Wales, has fallen out with Bayern team-mate, Robert Lewandowski.

Lewandowski has been in fine goal-scoring form for the German champions of late, during a time when Robben has been out of action through injury.

The report now claims that the Polish international has let it be known that he prefers playing alongside summer signing Douglas Costa and Kingsley Coman who aren’t as selfish as Robben.
