Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus looks set to be tied up in the coming days and, in all the glitz of continental European football, the latest chapter involves a helicopter and a Greek hotel.

The Bianconeri are in pole position to secure the playing services of Ronaldo for the coming years. Juventus president Andrea Agnelli landed in Kalamata, Greece this morning and hopped on a helicopter to Ronaldo’s hotel, ahead of a proposed move.
The five-time Ballon d’Or recipient is expected to make a move worth £88m to Juve and earn a reported salary of £26.5m a year, equating to £500k per week.
On Monday, Gianluigi Buffon, who recently left Juventus for PSG, told Italy’s Sky Sports:
“I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ronaldo at Juventus. It would make me happy because it is what the Juventus world needs, to find new idols and adore them.”
The Portugal captain scored four goals in four World Cup games but he and his country exited at the second round stage after losing out to Uruguay.
MARCA reported, on Sunday, that the former Manchester United player had turned down a €100m-a-season approach from an unnamed Chinese Super League club back in December 2017.
