Portugal secure World Cup spot

Ronaldo featured for Portugal over the international break, playing in both matches as they secured their spot at the World Cup in Qatar later this year through the play-offs.

Fernando Santos’s side defeated Turkey 3-1 at the semi-final stage last Thursday, before cruising past North Macedonia 2-0 on Tuesday night.

United will also be without Edinson Cavani for the home clash against the Foxes, who picked up an injury during the international break while away with Uruguay.
