She tried to catch the words as they flew out of her mouth but before she knew it, Ronda Rousey had uttered the smuttiest statement ever spoken by a fighter.
The UFC women’s bantamweight champion is in Australia to hype her November title defence against Holly Holm, and left the Aussie press with more than they had bargained for.
Rousey was answering a question about how her previous opponents’ stand-up skills compared to the striking style of Holm when she said:
“They don’t have the kind of footwork and movement that Holly has, they were more counter-punchers so I knew that if I came right in their face right away…
“Oh that sounded terrible. Not right away! I take my time, okay?!”
