No sympathy for the former Man City striker.
There are almost certain things about Manchester United performances that you can set your watch to.
The frustrating lack of a cutting edge, Mourinho’s ability to park the bus whenever he deems fit and Roy Keane having his say on how his former side have fallen off their Fergie-inspired perch.
As we all know, the former United captain was never shy of expressing an opinion and speaking on ITV, Keane was fairly critical of Mourinho’s men.
“Their level of performance tonight and letting a team like Celta Vigo dictate the game and keeping themselves in the game into the final minute, it’s not a good reflection on United. It goes to show where they’ve been this season with all the draws they’ve had, almost having that defensive mindset all night. A team like Man United at home to Celta Vigo – go and get the job done, win two or three nil. They were there for the taking but they just couldn’t get to that level which they’ve not done for most of the season,” he said.
This being said, the former Sunderland and Ipswich Town manager reserved his most scathing words for former Celtic, Feyenoord and Man City striker John Guidetti after his shocking miss proved to be costly.
Prior to the two teams meeting, Guidetti had a pop-shot at the Red Devils by saying “Manchester is blue and that’s how it will be when we visit there as well.”
Well, United fans enjoyed a fair amount of schadenfreude after this miss and Keane showed the Swedish striker no mercy.

After being asked about this miss, Keane said: “He’s never looked nimble in his career, to be fair. Just look at the guy.”
Just look at the guy.
Jesus, like him or loath him, but there’s no denying that Keane can still cut to the very core.
